CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Charleston's restaurant scene is getting some more love from Southern Loving.
The magazine has named Charleston one of the "Tastiest Towns in the South" for a second year in a row, citing the area's "hyper-attention to local sourcing and indigenous heirloom ingredients."
Husk chef Sean Brock and Mike Lata of FIG and The Ordinary are picked out as the top chefs in town, while the Butcher and the Bee, The MacIntosh, and Two Borough's Larder are highlighted for best bites.
Husk's acclaimed barrel-aged Manhattan was selected as the top drink.
The other "Tastiest Towns" include: Greenville, SC; Durham, NC; Memphis, TN; Miami, FL; Louisville, KY; Asheville, NC; Atlanta, GA, Austin, TX, and New Orleans, LA.
