MT. PLEASANT, SC (WCSC) -

Authorities have released dash camera video of a police chase in North Charleston involving three women accused of stealing merchandise from multiple stores and intentionally striking a police officer.

The newly released video shows the suspects' car in North Charleston as it is being chased by police on Jan. 23. Towards the end of the video, the suspects' vehicle is seen crashing into a garage.

Authorities arrested 23-year-old Shaneah Walker, 20-year-old Kelvinisha LaToya Green, and 22-year-old Lachavia Quanisha Brownlee. All three suspects are from Miami, Florida, and drove up with the specific intent to steal from stores, authorities said.

Authorities say it all started on the afternoon of Jan. 23 when the three women stole 675 pairs of underwear from the Victoria's Secret at Northwoods Mall.

About an hour later, the Mount Pleasant Police Department responded to the Mt. Pleasant Towne Centre where the same women reportedly took merchandise from four stores at the center.

A police officer investigating the multiple thefts, then spotted the suspects driving a silver car. Authorities say the officer was injured and dragged 30 feet by the suspects' car as she was attempting to stop them.

A chase then started which ended in North Charleston on Morningside Drive, where the suspects' car crashed into a free-standing garage.

The police officer who was injured was treated and released from the hospital.
