Ashley Ridge High students return to class after bomb threat

Students and faculty at Ashley Ridge High School were rushed outside Friday morning after the school received a bomb threat.

According to Dorchester District Two spokesperson Pat Raynor, the school performed a fire drill at 11:45 a.m. as police and a canine unit searched the campus. It was determined that the bomb threat was a hoax.

Raynor said the students waited outside of the building for approximately one hour before returning to their classes.
