JOHNS ISLAND, SC (WCSC) -

The Charleston County Sheriff's Office says a lane is back open after a 30-foot sailboat fell  from a trailer blocking  traffic on the Limehouse Bridge on Johns Island.

Deputies reopened that lane at 8:30 Friday night. Traffic had to be rerouted around the boat.

Authorities say traffic is flowing in both directions, but it is still congested in the area. Motorists are urged to use caution if traveling in the area.
