Police seek man who sexually assaulted SC State student

ORANGEBURG, SC (WISTV) - South Carolina State University Police are hoping the release of a composite sketch will help to identify a man who sexually assaulted a female student last week on campus.

The alleged assault took place in an academic building during the daylight hours of January 28, according to university spokesperson Ashley Elliott.

The wanted individual is described as a black male 5'7" to 5'9", 150 to 160 lbs, slender build, medium brown complexion and short cropped hair. He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, gray hoodie and blue jeans.
