NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) -

More charges have been filed against the trio of suspected shoplifters who led law enforcement on a high-speed chase from Mt. Pleasant to North Charleston in late January.

On Tuesday, Charleston Police Department charged 22-year-old Lachavia Brownlee, 23-year-old Shaneah Walker and 20-year-old Kelvinisha Green with shoplifting approximately 20 bras from the Victoria's Secret at Citadel Mall.

That was the same day the trio allegedly hit the Victoria's Secret at Northwoods Mall for over 600 pairs of underwear before they proceeded to Mt. Pleasant Towne Centre and stole from shops in the area.

Investigators say when the women were confronted by an officer at Towne Centre, one of them hit the gas and ran into the female officer, dragging her about 30 feet.

Video released on Tuesday shows the suspects' vehicle weaving in and out of traffic as police attempt to catch up from behind.

Last Friday, court officials announced that three women will have their shoplifting charges combined with more serious charges when their cases go to trial.
