MONCKS CORNER, SC (WCSC) - Investigators have identified two suspects from a shooting which left three people injured in Moncks Corner on Tuesday.
Moncks Corner Police Lieutenant Michael Roach said police were looking for 23-year-old Trenton Rashad Major and 21-year-old Darnell Quiton Reid.
Both men are charged with attempted murder in connection with Tuesday's shooting on Wall Street near Highway 52 which happened just before 2 p.m.
Police arrived on scene to find three people suffering from gunshots, but only two victims were transported to Trident Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
Roach said the shooting followed a verbal altercation, but the third person injured was randomly struck in the hand by a stray bullet. That victim was not part of the altercation, police said.
Roach said Reid and Major chased the victims and shot at them a number of times.
School officials said Berkeley Middle School was placed on lockdown for half an hour while police responded to the area.
