CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) -

A long-standing book store in West Ashley is marking down tons of items as it prepares to close its doors for good this month.

A big yellow sign hangs across the Books-a-Million on Orleans Road, advising the location is going out of business. After nearly 20 years at that location, the store will close for the final time on Saturday, February 16.

The book store is slashing prices on books, magazines, games and more as part of a going out of business sale.

The following items are now on sale:

  • Books, audio books and magazines – 20% off
  • Puzzles and games – 30% off
  • Cards, calendars, and items in the café – 50% off

Books-a-Million at Northwoods Mall will remain open.
