Georgetown man accused of selling stolen furniture, appliances

GEORGETOWN COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - Investigators say they have arrested a 36-year-old man who was arrested after he attempted to sell furniture and appliances he stole from a Georgetown County home.

The Georgetown County Sheriff's Office arrested Charles Aaron Cribb on Thursday and charged him with second-degree burglary.

Cribb's arrest stems from a Jan. 18 incident where someone had broken into a home in the Browns Ferry community and stole furniture and appliances.

Investigators say they received a tip that Cribb attempted to sell the stolen items. Cribb was locked up at the Georgetown County Detention Center.

Anyone with information regarding the case or any other incidents is asked to call the sheriff's office at (843) 546-5101.
