CHARLESTON COUNTY, SC (WCSC) -
Police are investigating an accident on Savannah Highway near the Waffle House and I-526 in West Ashley Saturday morning.
Charleston police spokesman Charles Francis said the two-car accident occurred around 11a.m. near the restaurant.
According to police, fire and EMS is on scene. No word on any injuries at this time.
The accident occurred in the northbound lanes and traffic is being re-routed on the road.
