Walterboro Public Safety officers are investigating a firearm discharge after a Walterboro man woke up Wednesday morning to find a bullet hole in the front of his house.

According to an incident report, officers were called to a home on Rivers Street at 11 a.m. Wednesday morning after the victim saw a bullet hole next to a window at the front of his house.

The victim told police the bullet entered near the window, went through a couch, and came to a stop in a wall connected to a room another resident was sleeping in.

The victim said he did not hear a gunshot any gunshots that night.

Police say there were no injuries in the house from the shooting.
