ORANGEBURG COUNTY, SC (WCSC) -

The Orangeburg County Sheriff's Office says two burglars were caught red-handed at a home this week.

Orangeburg County Sheriff Leroy Ravenell said four officers arrested 19-year-old Roosevelt Emanuel Johnson and 19-year-old Dorian James Bodrick while they were stealing property out of a home on Cloverdale Lane on Wednesday.

According to Ravenell, a concerned citizen observed the pair removing property from the yard as well as the residence and contacted law enforcement.

The responding officers were able to take Johnson and Bodrick into custody although they were hiding in the woods behind the property.

"We are grateful to the observant citizen as well as the Officers of this agency and the SC Regulatory Staff for making this arrest and solving some cases dating back to Jan. 15," Ravenell said.

Johnson was charged with one count of first-degree burglary and two counts of second-degree burglary, while Bodrick faces one count of first-degree burglary.
