Report: Teen caught having sex in two SEWE tents

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) -

A 19-year-old College of Charleston student was arrested early Thursday morning after he was caught having sex in two separate Southeastern Wildlife Expo tents in Marion Square, an incident report states.

Bryan Joseph Williams of Millersville, Maryland was arrested and charged with trespassing, disobeying a lawful order, disorderly conduct, indecent exposure, and resisting arrest.

According to an incident report, an officer caught Williams and an unidentified female engaging in sexual intercourse in the Agricultural Tent in Marion Square around 12:35 a.m.

After asking the couple 3-4 times to come out of the tent, the responding officer says they finally stopped.

The report states both suspects smelled of alcohol and were unsteady on their feet. The couple was asked to leave the park and go home.

Police say the couple was later heard giggling in another tent. When he entered the tent, the two were again having sexual intercourse.

When asked to stop and sit on a curb, the officer says the two suspects would not comply and tried to run off. At this time, the female suspect's dress was still pulled up around her waist, exposing her privates.

The report states the officer was trying to hang on to both suspects, but both were trying to get away. The officer was able to restrain Williams after letting go of the female suspect who then ran across the park and disappeared.

A security officer from Francis Marion Hotel assisted police with Williams' arrest.

Williams was transported to the Charleston County Detention Center.
