Brings nearly 20 years of experience in software and services sales to higher education customers

Watertown, MA, February 19, 2013 – Liaison International, Inc., a leading provider of integrated software, services and data offerings for professional and educational associations, universities, and accrediting agencies, today announced that it has named Joe Belenardo, a sales executive with nearly 20 years of experience in the higher education marketplace, as Vice President-Business Development.

Belenardo comes to Liaison from Ellucian (formerly Sungard Higher Education), where he worked as a senior sales executive for more than 10 years. As Vice President-North Region, he led an 18-member team that managed all customer relationships and sales activities for software and strategic services to colleges and universities in a 14-state territory and Canada. Earlier, he worked as a Client Development Executive at Ciber Incorporated and as National Sales Manager at Core Business Technologies, with a heavy focus on software and services sales for higher education in both positions.
Belenardo holds a BS in Business Administration from Northeastern University.
