The initiative, known as the ‘Direct Digital Good Neighbor Program,’ was developed to help support individuals and other established charitable groups on both a local and global basis. In keeping with the company’s overall business mission, the program will primarily focus its efforts on upholding a multitude of health, wellness, educational and children’s-related causes. Direct Digital, an organization where owners and employees alike are active participants in various philanthropic efforts, realized the amount of attainable good could be exponentially greater via the organized and collected efforts of the company as a whole. As such, the Good Neighbor Program came to life.

The company will be both giving to and sponsoring various charitable initiatives throughout 2013, however, a myriad of organizations were the recipient of a helping hand from the Good Neighbor Program during the 2012 calendar year. A few recent highlights of the Direct Digital Good Neighbor Program included:

  •     A percentage of every product sold in 2012 was donated to the Arthritis Foundation.
  •     More than 18,000 units of vitamins were donated to the Children’s Hunger Fund to assist malnourished individuals domestically and around the globe.
  •     Every company employee participated in multi-family sponsorships of the ‘A Child’s Place’ organization in Charlotte, NC, which works to overcome youth homelessness, hunger and poverty.
  •     A percentage of every product sold in 2012 went toward the support of the Doug Flutie, Jr. Foundation for Autism, which helps improve the quality of life for people and families living with autism.
