Texas woman is suing Facebook over a fake profile.
Heather Gray's fingers brushed the water away from the commemorative brick which bears her and her husband's initials.
"It was going to be a surprise for our anniversary, but he never actually got to see it," Gray says of the brick at the couple's alma mater – Charleston Southern University.
Gray's husband, Maj. David Gray, died in Afghanistan last summer. This week marks her first time back on campus since his death, and her first time viewing the commemorative brick.
"There are a lot of memories on this campus and it was kind of bittersweet," she says. "It was like coming home a little bit, but at the same time, it made me take my breath."
Gray had the brick engraved with the words "Where we met/ DG*HP Forever." It was a designed she picked before her husband's death.
Gray will be giving a presentation through her organization "Finish Strong Ministries" at the campus on Wednesday at 11am. It is open to the public.
