MONCKS CORNER, SC (WCSC) -
Berkeley County Water & Sanitation has lifted a previously issued boil water advisory for its customers residing in the Berkeley Country Club subdivision in Moncks Corner.
The advisory, issued early Wednesday, came after a water main ruptured in the area.
Crews had to shut down the water main in order to facilitate the repair, according to company spokesperson Johana Cooper.
All flushing and testing in this area have since been completed
and the test results indicate that residents no longer need to boil their
water.
