GOOSE CREEK, SC (WCSC) - Berkeley County Water and Sanitation officials say they have repaired an area of Red Bank Road following a road cave in earlier in the week.
On Tuesday, authorities had shut down one lane near Goose Creek High School. A spokesperson with the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office said a sewage line pressurized under the road which caused parts of it to collapse.
Officials had said that the lane could be closed for up to two weeks.
A Berkeley County Water and Sanitation press release states crews were able to repair the road ahead of schedule.
