NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) -
North Charleston police arrested two suspects last week after a report of suspected drug use at a hotel led to the discovery of a meth lab.
According to an incident report, officers were called to room #114 at The Siesta Motor Lodge on Rivers Avenue around 10:15 a.m. on Feb. 22 for suspected drug use.
Police say they made contact with the occupants in the room, 28-year-old Jerome Andrew Brown and 30-year-old Christina Marie Anderson.
Upon making contact with Brown and Anderson, a homemade lab was spotted in plain view at the back of the hotel room. Beside the lab were containers of Coleman fuel, batteries, a gas generator, chemicals and other items used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine.
The report states Brown told police "It's all mine."
Police arrested Brown and Anderson and both were charged with manufacturing methamphetamines.
