Burglary suspect causes lockdown at East Texas high school

An administrative employee at Pine Tree High School confirms that the lockdown has been lifted.

According to Longview police, a burglary suspect was in the area near the high school, on Briarwood Street. The high school activated the lockdown as a precautionary measure.

According to Pine Tree ISD administration, the lockdown was lifted when Longview police gave the school the all clear.

Longview police said the burglary suspect is still on the loose. He is described by police as a black male wearing a pink hoodie.
