Investigators release surveillance picture of bank robber

GEORGETOWN COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - The Georgetown County Sheriff's Office has released a surveillance picture of a suspect wanted for robbing a bank in Murrells Inlet on Monday.

Investigators say at 2:30 p.m., a man entered the NBSC bank on 3796 Highway 17 and demanded and took money.

The suspect then left through the rear door.

Witnesses spotted the suspect leaving the area in a four door bright blue hatchback vehicle.

Georgetown County authorities describe the suspect as a white male in his late 20's, 5'11", 170 pounds, wearing dark clothing, a mask with a possible flannel shirt.
