MT. PLEASANT, SC (WCSC) -

A wreck on the Don Holt Bridge has been cleared after causing delays Tuesday morning for motorists headed onto Daniel Island and into Mt. Pleasant.

The wreck was reported at the crest of the bridge, in the left eastbound lane, just before 7:45 a.m.

Moderate delays occurred in both eastbound and westbound lanes on the bridge.

As of 8:30 a.m., traffic was flowing smoother on the bridge although delays congestion in North Charleston continued because of the earlier wreck.
