CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) -

Police are looking for a man wanted for questioning in regards to the theft of a laptop from a room at the Francis Marion Hotel.

According to the Charleston Police Department, the theft happened last Sunday between 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on the eighth floor of the hotel located at the corner of King and Calhoun streets.

An incident report states the victim left her Dell laptop in room 804 and returned later to find the laptop bag still on the table, but the laptop was taken.

Hotel staff were unable to find any forced entry into the room.
