A cruise liner making a monthlong cruise from England to the Caribbean and Mexico is stopping in Charleston.
P&O Cruises' Oriana is expected to dock in Charleston on Friday, according to the South Carolina Ports' website. The Associated Press had reported that the Oriana, with about 1,800 passengers, was expected to dock in Charleston on Thursday.
The ship left Southampton, England, on Feb. 11. It sailed to the Caribbean and Mexico before heading to New Orleans. It then sailed around the Florida peninsula with various stops.
The Charleston stop is the ship's last in North America before it heads back across the Atlantic.
