CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC/AP) -
Officials with Charleston International Airport say there are a number of canceled flights and delays due to the snow storm in New England.
Airport officials say JetBlue has had to delay flights to Boston and JFK. US Airways canceled flights to Philadelphia and Charlotte and United Express has canceled two flights to Newark.
Officials ask that you check with your specific airline for details for affected flights.
The cancellations come as New England continues to deal with problems from a winter storm as thousands of homes and businesses are without power.
Flooding from the storm that has dumped more than a foot of snow on parts of New England has closed some coastal roads near Boston. And according to a newspaper, an unoccupied home on an island north of the city fell into the ocean.
The slow-moving storm is centered far out in the Atlantic. But the snow from the storm has made for a slippery commute today as far south as New York and Pennsylvania. For a second day, snow and accidents made the morning commute difficult in Connecticut.
Some parts of Massachusetts had more than a foot of snow by midmorning, with more expected.
