CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Charges were dropped against a man accused of exposing himself to a wedding party at a downtown hotel in March, 2013.
Charleston Police Department responded to the Double Tree Hotel on Church Street on a report of an indecent exposure incident.
The bride's mother told police she saw a man in a window at a hotel room over looking the courtyard where the wedding party was located. She said the man was completely naked and exposing himself.
Members of the wedding party told investigators they saw the man at the hotel window fully clothed and waving at them before he came back completely naked.
A police report states that when officers went to the man's hotel room, and the man answered the door only wearing a towel around his waist.
Members of the wedding party identified him as the man who exposed himself.
The indecent exposure charge was dismissed on April 30 2014, more than a year after the incident, according to court documents.
