JAMES ISLAND, SC (WCSC) -

The Charleston Police Department has arrested a 46-year-old West Ashley woman accused of setting a fire at a James Island law firm where she was formerly employed.

Investigators arrested Julie Eckert Thursh on Tuesday and charged her with third-degree arson and second-degree burglary.

Thrush's arrest stems from a Nov. 9, 2012 incident where officers responded to a fire at the Manaker Law Firm on 571 Folly Rd.

A police report states the fire happened around 11:30 a.m. in a crawl space.

Police are continuing the investigation.
