JAMES ISLAND, SC (WCSC) -
Police are looking for a man who was caught on video stealing a moped from the parking lot of the James Island Walmart.
Charleston Police Department officers responded to 1231 Folly Road last Sunday after a 51-year-old man reported his moped stolen from the parking lot. The victim said he left his keys to the moped in a storage pocket under the handbars, and then walked inside the store just before 9 a.m.

Video from the parking lot shows a man walking out of the garden section of the store and towards the lot where the moped was parked around 9:45 a.m. The video then shows the suspect driving off on the moped towards Folly Road.
Another video from the scene shows the male suspect walk into the store accompanied by a woman. Police are also looking for her.
Officers described the male suspect as a heavy-set white man appearing to be in his 40s. He was wearing black shoes, light blue jeans, a dark sweatshirt, and a tan jacket.
The woman also appears to be in her 40s and has blond hair. She was wearing what appeared to be a black jacket, a black t-shirt, and blue jeans.
