GREENSBORO, NC (WGHP/CNN/RNN) - A message to a cheating spouse turns out to be nothing more than a ploy to fill bar stools.

A billboard that appeared to be rented by a scorned wife in Greensboro, NC is an advertisement by local restaurant owners.

According to the journalism blog UPI.com, the purchaser of the billboard advertisement was Kostis Holdings.

The group also owns several restaurants in the Greensboro area, including the Yodaddy restaurant mentioned in the second message to the other woman in the new advertisement.

On Thursday, the advertisement changed, reading:

Jessica,

Meet me at Yodaddy's at 7:00 p.m. for some wine therapy.

-Jennifer

The initial message read:

Michael,

GPS Tracker - $250, Nikon camera with zoom lens - $1600, Catching my husband and buying this billboard with our investment account - Priceless. Tell Jessica you're moving in!"

- Jennifer

The message has slowed traffic in the area and left people wondering if "Michael" really exists.

"I hope (he does exist). I'm pretty sure she put it where he has to ride through," said Greensboro resident Pierce Egerton. Look out, Michael. You are going to get it."
