ORANGEBURG, S.C. (AP) - Authorities say they found a bag of marijuana on a man as they searched him in court not long after he pleaded guilty to simple possession of marijuana.
Jovon Graham, 24, was in Orangeburg City Court on Tuesday, pleading guilty to simple possession of marijuana.
A judge ordered him to pay half of his $813 fine or start a possible 70-day jail sentence. As officers searched him, they found a bag of marijuana and Graham went to jail on another simple possession charge.
Graham had a bond hearing Wednesday. When the judge asked if he had been arrested before, he said "same charge." Graham remains behind bars. It wasn't known if he had a lawyer.
