Bond set at $300k for man accused in W. Ashley shooting

WEST ASHLEY, SC (WCSC) - Bond was set at $300,000 on Tuesday for a man accused of shooting at people in a Jeep.

The Charleston Police Department says David Capers was captured by the US Marshals Task Force Monday evening.

Investigators say David Capers was taken into custody at 6 p.m. at a home on Stonehedge Road.

Authorities say on March 18 around 8:20 p.m., Capers fired once into a Jeep as it drove away on Evergreen Street in West Ashley.

According to police, the vehicle was occupied by three people, including one juvenile.
