Summerville police investigating pharmacy robbery

Posted: Updated:
SUMMERVILLE, SC (WCSC) -

Summerville police are investigating after a CVS was held up early Tuesday.

According to Captain Jon Rogers with the Summerville Police Department, the CVS at 301 North Main Street was robbed around 6 a.m.

Rogers was not immediately able to provide a description of the suspect.

The robbery comes several days after a Walgreens was hit in Summerville.  Rogers said Oxycodone pills were taken in that robbery, last Thursday.

It is unclear if the two incidents are related.

Police are continuing their investigation, and we will provide more details as they become available.
