Colleton County deputies have arrested three people after discovering a meth lab in Cottageville Wednesday afternoon.
Authorities say Goose Creek police contacted the Colleton County Sheriff's department in reference to 20-year-old Kendle Masterson, who detectives say was hiding in the area and wanted on charges for 1st degree burglary.
According to authorities Masterson was staying with two people at a home on Augusta Highway.
Sheriff's deputies located the suspect at the home, but once inside they located several items used with the manufacturing of methamphetamine. Deputies located hypodermic needles, digital scales, chemicals, meth waste and approximately three grams of methamphetamine.
The Drug Enforcement Administration was also called out to the home to help take down the meth lab.
Colleton County officials say this crime is still under investigation and that Masterson was turned over to the Goose Creek Police Department.
