Well-known chef recovering following accident on Ravenel bridge

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - A well-known chef is recovering after being involved in a four-car accident on the Ravenel bridge.

Bob Carter, owner of Carter's Kitchen and the Rutledge Cab Company restaurant, was in the  accident on Tuesday.

A manager at Carter's Kitchen said Carter is expected to be okay, and should go home from the hospital on Friday.

According to an incident report, it all started when a chair fell out of a truck which led to a chain reaction accident that injured Carter and a person who had gotten out of their car.
