After leading the Bucs to a weekend sweep of UNC Asheville, Charleston Southern's Zack Hagaman has been named the Big South Conference Choice Hotels Baseball Player of the Week for games played March 25-31, the League announced today.
Hagaman, a junior from Pawley's Island, S.C., batted .471 with eight hits and nine RBI to lead the Buccaneers to a 3-1 record last week, including a series sweep over Big South-foe UNC Asheville. The Bucs' designated hitter notched three doubles and three homers in the series with the Bulldogs to finish the weekend with a slugging percentage of 1.176. His biggest game of the week came in game one of the double header on Saturday, going 4-for-4 with four RBI, two home runs and two doubles in the win over Asheville. He hit .571 on the weekend. The honor marks his first Big South Player of the Week nod this season.
