Some art students in North Charleston are offering young children on spring break an opportunity to get creative.
This week, the School of the Arts is hosting its second annual art camp for 1st- through 5th-grade students from several area schools.
School of the Arts students teach courses in creative writing, dance, vocal, theatre, visual arts and percussion. Organizers say they hope the camp promotes a love of the arts and also encourages School of the Arts students to participate in service activities.
Classes started Monday and run through Wednesday.
