WALTERBORO, SC (WCSC) -

A man was taken to jail Saturday afternoon after Walmart shoppers accused him of exposing himself in Walterboro, police say.

A Walterboro Public Safety incident report states officers responded to the Walmart on Bells Highway around 3:30 p.m. after receiving reports of indecent exposure.  When they arrived, two female shoppers told them 36-year-old Wilton Mark McMillan showed them his privates.

One victim said she was on the cosmetics aisle when she noticed McMillan, and although he appeared to be following her she didn't become alarmed.  However, when she looked at McMillan again, she said she saw his privates showing out of his pants.

The other victim confirmed the man's privates were "fully exposed" and his shirt "was up."

When police questioned McMillan, he told them he was scratching himself and "it may have popped out."

McMillan was arrested and taken to the Colleton County Detention Center.  He is charged with indecent exposure.
