Summerville man in custody after deputies find meth lab at home

SUMMERVILLE, SC (WCSC) - A Summerville man is in custody after deputies discovered a meth lab in his home.

The Dorchester County Sheriff's Office was called to the 200 block of Cady Drive around 3:30  a.m. on Monday after an anonymous caller reported a strong odor of chemicals coming from a home in the area.

Authorities say when they arrived, they could detect a strong odor of chemicals coming from a home on 242 Cady Dr.

Responding deputies say they saw 25-year-old Daniel Nall inside the home trying to get rid of materials like syringes, tubing and a butane lighter.

After a search inside the house, deputies say they found evidence of a meth lab and arrested Nall for manufacturing and distribution of meth.

Two other people were also detained, but deputies say Nall claimed responsibility for the drugs.
