Duo arrested after drugs found at James Island home

JAMES ISLAND, SC (WCSC) - The Charleston Police Department has arrested two people after drugs were found at a James Island home.

Investigators charged 44-year-old Steven Lemon and 26-year-old Ishmel Lemon with possession with intent to distribute cocaine.

The charges stem from an April 11, 2013 incident when investigators executed a search warrant at a home on Seacroft Road.

A police report states officers found 7.5 grams of crack cocaine, 12.5 grams of cocaine, nearly $2000 in cash and a digital scale with a white powder residue.

Police arrested Ishmel Lemon who was found in a converted garage living room. On Wednesday, police arrested Steven Lemon.
