GOOSE CREEK, SC (WCSC) - Investigators are on the lookout for a suspect wanted for home invasion in Goose Creek where guns and ammunition were stolen.
On Friday morning, a Goose Creek police officer responded to a home on Severn Street in reference to an armed robbery.
The 19-year-old victim said he was awakened by a noise and looked up and saw the suspect standing over him holding a knife that belonged to the victim. The victim told the officer that the doors of the house were unsecured before the incident happened.
The suspect then told the victim to wake up and tell him where the guns and drugs were. Police say the suspect then placed the knife near the victim's ribs.
Investigators say during the incident, the suspect started a conversation with the victim telling him that he had been to jail 13 times, was from Brooklyn and told him that he would kill him if he contacted the police.
The victim said after he pointed to different areas of the house where guns may be located, including his mother's room closet, the suspect made the victim lay face down on the ground and told him to cover his head with a pillow. According to the victim, he looked up periodically and saw the suspect take guns from a black duffle bag.
The suspect continued to take the victim through the house with a knife to his side, while the suspect rummaged through the house. Police say the suspect then put the victim in a bathroom and tied the bathroom door knob with a cord from an iron.
The mother and her boyfriend, who also lives at the home, arrived at the house and told investigators that they did not know who could have robbed them.
Investigators say the following guns and items were stolen from the house:
Black 44 magnum Ruger Super Blackhawk revolver with Hogue grips
Gray and black .45 caliber Bersa Thunder
Three 9mm and two. 45 caliber magazines
Various ammunition for .9mm, .45 cal and .44 magnum weapons
Authorities say a flat blue Mongoose 20" frame BMX style bicycle was also stolen.
Police describe the suspect as a black male, 6'3" tall, slightly built, having short dreadlocks, wearing black pants and a red and black t-shirt.
