Cops: Suspect wanted on multiple assault charges

JOHNS ISLAND, SC (WCSC) - Charleston police say they are searching for a man who is accused of assaulting his estranged wife on two separate occasions.

Authorities have issued warrants for the arrest of 37-year-old Adan Pascual-Labra. He is wanted on one count of assault and battery second degree and one count of criminal domestic violence.

According to an affidavit, the suspect entered the home of the victim on March 13 around 7 p.m. and began going through her cell phone. When the victim grabbed her phone, Pascaul-Labra pushed her on the bed, held her down, and punched her.

Police say the suspect is also accused of assaulting the victim at her residence on April 19 around 2 a.m.

Pascaul-Labra is described as white man with a dark complexion, about 5'5" and 140-pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes, and was last known to reside at 3129 River Road on Johns Island.
