MONCKS CORNER, SC (WCSC) -

The Berkeley County Sheriff's Office says they've arrested one suspect in connection with a carjacking which happened earlier this week in Moncks Corner.

Deputies said 19-year-old Falonzo Dash was arrested Thursday night.  He is charged with two counts of attempted murder, carjacking, and armed robbery.

According to sheriff's office spokesman Dan Moon, the carjacking happened around 9 a.m. at Mitten Rd. and Nero Lane just off Highway 17-A on Tuesday.

Moon said the victim told authorities he had just given the two suspects a ride. When he turned the vehicle around, the two men pointed a gun at him and told him to get out of the car.

Deputies said a shot was fired, but no one was hit.

At this point, it is unclear if deputies are looking for a second suspect.  The sheriff's office is expected to release more information later Friday.
