SUMMERVILLE, SC (WCSC) - Dorchester District 2 officials say a student at a Summerville middle school was suspended after administrators found a steak knife in his book bag.
According to school officials, the incident happened on Thursday at Rollings Middle School of the Arts when administrators found "inappropriate items," which included a steak knife, in a student's book bag.
The incident was investigated and the student was suspended. District officials say there were no safety issues or disruption to other students.
Parents were informed of the incident.
