    Pete Ambrose chose to hear the bad news first.Late Monday, the farmer and owner of Ambrose Farms on Wadmalaw Island got wind of a $1092 citation issued by The City of Charleston, for advertising signs he posted on city property.The signs read, U-Pick Strawberries and list a phone number for Ambrose Farms. GEORGETOWN COUNTY, SC (WCSC) -

Georgetown County deputies have released photos of a man who they say grabbed money out of a Waverley Place Shopping Center business cash register on May 10 after asking for change.

According to a release, the incident occurred Friday around 1:20 p.m. at a business located at 10517 Ocean Highway. The address is for the Waverley Place Shopping Center.

Deputies say the suspect asked a store clerk for change. When the clerk opened the register, the suspect grabbed an undisclosed amount of cash and ran out of the store.

No weapons were used and the clerk was never threatened with force, the release states.

Deputies say the suspect was a black male who was wearing a grey and red stripped shirt, black pants, black shoes, and a grey hat.
