(CNN) – The price of sending mail may be going up – again.
The U.S. Postal Service board will look into hiking postage prices on all types of mail.
It would affect first class mail as well as business that mail periodicals, newspapers, magazines and marketing material.
This proposal comes after the postal service shelved a plan to end Saturday service because they didn't have legal authority to do so.
The postal service has been struggling financially because of a 2006 Congressional mandate that requires healthcare benefits for future retirees be pre-funded.
