McClellanville man wanted for shooting surrenders to authorities

GEORGETOWN COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - A McClellanville man wanted for a shooting in Georgetown County has surrendered to authorities.

The Georgetown County Sheriff's Office says 20-year-old Joshua Rashaun Taylor turned himself over to investigators at the sheriff's office at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.

Investigators say Taylor shot a male victim several times during an altercation at the Zodiac Lounge, located at 1411 Saints Delight Road, around 2:50 a.m. Monday.

The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.  His condition is unknown at this time.

Taylor was charged with attempted murder and was transported to the Georgetown County Detention Center where he is awaiting a bond hearing.
