DANIEL ISLAND, SC (WCSC) -

Well-known jam band Widespread Panic will return to the Lowcountry for the first time in three years this fall.

According to their website, the Athens-based eight are scheduled to take the stage at the Family Circle Stadium for two nights – October 4 and 5. They'll be joined by another prominent name on the jam circuit, Umphrey's McGee.

The last time Widespread Panic came to town was October 2010, when they performed at the North Charleston Coliseum.

Tickets are set to go on sale this Friday. Tickets start at $42.50.
