Police investigating drive-by shooting in North Charleston

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - The North Charleston Police Department is investigating a drive-by shooting that happened early Monday morning.

At 3:40 a.m., police responded to 4453 Dorchester Rd. in reference to locating shell casings from the shooting.

Officers searched the road and found four shell casings in the middle of the road.

A clerk at a nearby gas station told police she thought she heard three guns shots as two vehicles were passing the store.

Authorities are continuing the investigation.
