Two men sentenced in Murrells Inlet stabbing death

CONWAY, S.C. (AP) - Two men have been sentenced to prison for their guilty pleas in the stabbing death of the uncle of 1 of the men in Murrells Inlet.

The Sun News of Myrtle Beach reported that 26-year-old Joshua Cody Wilson of Murrells Inlet and 25-year-old Dustin Clifford Autry of Garden City Beach pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter earlier this week.

Circuit Judge Edward Cottingham sentenced each man to 15 years in prison.

Forty-4-year-old Christopher Nance was found dead outside his home Sept. 4.

Wilson and Autry were roommates who lived next door to Nance at the time.

Horry County Police Sgt. Robert Kegler said investigators determine the men had dumped the weapon in the ocean.
