CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) -

Charleston police are asking for help in identifying two men who may have information about a robbery that took place in downtown Charleston.

Photos from a convenience store surveillance camera show the two men. Detectives say they are not wanted, but they might have information that could help with their investigation of an April robbery.

Police say a woman was walking home from King Street on Saturday, April 27 around 2:30 p.m. when a suspect came behind her and stole her purse while at the intersection of Rutledge Ave. and Cannon St.

According to an incident report, the victim's purse contained her iPhone and wallet which held her credit card and cash, as well as a friend's phone and wallet.

The victim told police her credit card company advised her that a failed transaction was then made at a Kangaroo Express.

If you can identify these men, call CRIME STOPPERS at 843-554-1111.
